In comparative chemical analysis and enzyme and cell tests, Wild Bear garlic (Allium Ursinum) was found to have an effect corresponding to that of cultivated (kitchen bulb) garlic. However, Wild Bear Garlic (Allium Ursinum) contains 4 timers more ajoenes, gamma-glutamyl peptides, iron, ACE-inhibitory potential, 30% more sulfur, and about 20 times more adenosine than cultivated garlic. Adenosine and ajoene are the key components in Wild Bear Garlic (Allium Ursinum) positively effecting the regulation of hypertension and tachycardia.
