Betacol also contains niacin, which functions as a coenzyme key to cellular respiration, carbohydrate and protein metabolism, and lipid synthesis.2 Choline is involved in the metabolism of fat and cholesterol and is required to make lipoproteins present in all human cell membranes.3*
What ingredients support homocysteine management and cellular function?
Betacol contains vitamin B6, which is important for red blood cell formation and helps maintain homocysteine levels in the blood, along with vitamin B12 and folate.4,5,6 Vitamin B6 is also required to synthesize the precursors of ribonucleic acid (RNA) and deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA)—the molecules that carry the genetic instructions for normal cellular growth and reproduction.7*
